Das Freiburger Trio mit dem Pianisten Thomas Scheytt, dem Gitarrist und Sänger Christoph Pfaff und dem Drummer Hiram Mutschler wurde im Herbst 1991 gegründet. Die drei Musiker, deren Leidenschaft der Blues, Boogie, Ragtime und Rock´n Roll ist, sind seither auf Tour und haben in all den Jahren ettliche tausend Kilometer quer durch ganz Europa zurückgelegt.
Inzwischen konnen sie eine lange Liste an Referenzen vorweisen - Auftritte auf den Bühnen renomierter Festivals ebenso wie in Jazzclubs und Musikkneipen verschiedenster Länder.

Von Benelux bis Spanien, von Frankreich bis Ungarn kennt mann die Band aus dem Breisgau mittlerweile. Konzerte mit internationalen Bluesgrößen sowie Rundfunk- und Fernsehauftritte gehören zu den Höhepunkten der Boogie Connection, deren emotionsgeladene Life-Athmosphäre und unbändige Spielfreude immer wieder auf´s Neue das Publikum elektrisieren.

Gegenseitiges Verständnis und die gemeinsame musikalische Sprache prägen Stil und Technik des Trios, das in seiner Instrumentalbesetzung einzigartig ist.

Boogie Connection with pianist Thomas Scheytt, Christoph Pfaff, guitar & vocals and drummer Hiram Mutschler was formed in Autum 1991.
Devoted with heart and soul to Blues, Boogie Woogie, Ragtime and Rock´n Roll, they have been on tour since and have laid back many a thousand kilometers throughout the whole of Europe. They have a long list of very successful gigs in a wide variety of well known Festivals as well as Jazzclubs and Pubs in different countries of Europe, i.e. from Luxembourg to Spain and from Hungary to France the trio from Breisgau, Boogie Connection is well known.
